Tracking Numbers
Buy, organize, and manage tracking numbers in CallScaler.
Buying Numbers
Navigate to Numbers in the sidebar and click "Add Number." Enter a 3-digit area code (like 305 for Miami) and choose from the available local or toll-free numbers. Numbers are provisioned instantly.
For current number pricing, see https://callscaler.com/pricing.
Bulk Buying
Need a lot of numbers fast? Use the Bulk Buy feature. Click "Bulk Buy" on the Numbers page and enter your desired numbers, one per line. Each line can include multiple area codes separated by slashes (as fallbacks) and an optional label after a pipe character.
CallScaler tries each area code in order until it finds an available number. This is great when specific area codes are sold out.

Organize your numbers into groups for easy filtering and management. For example, create groups like "Google Ads," "Facebook Ads," and "Organic" to keep things tidy. Click the "Groups" tab on the Numbers page to create and manage groups.
Assigning Numbers to Call Flows
Every tracking number needs a call flow to define how calls are handled. On the Numbers page, click the call flow dropdown next to any number and select a call flow. You can also assign numbers in bulk by selecting multiple numbers and using the bulk action toolbar.
Number Porting
Already have phone numbers with another provider? You can port (transfer) them to CallScaler. Submit a porting request from the Numbers page, upload your current carrier's authorization documents, and track the status of your port. Porting typically takes 7 to 14 business days depending on your current carrier. Your numbers will continue working during the transition.
Start the porting process early. While we handle the transfer, you can set up your call flows and get everything ready.
Releasing Numbers
If you no longer need a tracking number, you can release it from your account. Go to Numbers, find the number, and click the delete/release button. Released numbers stop incurring monthly charges immediately.
Releasing a number is permanent. Make sure you've updated all marketing materials before releasing a number.
