Call Flow Versioning

Use version history to review and restore earlier call flow configurations.

Where versioning appears

Call flow versions are managed from the call flow editor at Call Flows.

You can open version history from either place:
1. Open any call flow
2. Click History in the right-side settings panel (desktop), or tap the history icon on mobile
3. Review the saved versions list

When a version is saved

A new version is captured when you save updates to an existing call flow. The system stores the previous configuration first, then applies your new one.

That means each saved version is a snapshot of what the flow looked like before a later change.

What you can review

In Version History, each entry shows:
- Version number
- Save timestamp
- User email (when available)
- Step list preview for that snapshot

Use this to confirm exactly what changed before you restore.

How to restore a version

1. Open History
2. Select the version you want
3. Review the step preview
4. Click Restore This Version
5. Wait for the success confirmation

After restore, the editor reloads with that configuration so you can keep editing or save additional changes.

Restoring a version does not decrease your version number. It creates a new current state based on the older snapshot, so version numbers continue increasing.

Version number on cards

On the Call Flows list, each card shows its current config version (for example, v7) and last updated time. Use this as a quick way to spot recently changed flows.
