AI Watchdog
Describe what you want caught in plain language, and AI Watchdog reviews your call transcripts on a schedule, tags matches in the call log, and emails you a report.
What AI Watchdog does
AI Watchdog runs monitors over your call transcripts. Each monitor is one plain-language instruction, like Flag the call if the caller mentions they found us on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist. On the schedule you pick, AI reads every new transcript and flags the calls that match.
Flagged calls get a tag in your call log, an optional note explaining why, and an email report. Common uses:
- •Spotting warm or live transfers sold as fresh inbound calls
- •Finding publishers sending restricted traffic, like classified listings
- •Catching a specific word or phrase
- •Finding callers who were never interested, or asked for a service you do not sell
Before you start
AI Watchdog only reads calls that have a transcript. Turn on Record Calls and AI Transcription on the call flows you want monitored. See AI Transcription.
Very short transcripts (under about 60 characters, like a single greeting or "No speech detected") are skipped and never billed.
Only managers and above can enable the extension and create or edit monitors.
Enable the extension
1. Go to Extensions.
2. Open AI Watchdog.
3. Click Enable AI Watchdog.
Create a monitor
Click New Monitor, or pick a template under Start from a template. Then fill in:
Be specific about what does not count. The warm transfer template, for example, says not to flag a caller who is simply calling back on their own.
- •Name: shows in the monitor list and in email subject lines.
- •What to look for: the instruction, in plain language. Say what should be flagged and what should not.
- •Runs: Daily, Every X days (2 to 30), or Weekly on a chosen day, at an hour in your time zone.
- •Start from: New calls only, or also the last 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days.
- •Email recipients: up to 20 addresses. Defaults to the account owner.
- •Email: email me when a call is flagged, email me after every run, or no email, just tag the call.
- •Call tag and Tag color: the tag flagged calls get. Defaults to the monitor name.
- •Add a note to flagged calls: a one-line note on the call saying why it was flagged.
Templates
Templates fill in the instruction and tag for you. Edit them freely before saving.
- •Warm or live transfer detection: calls that look like a transfer rather than a fresh inbound call.
- •Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist: calls that came from classified listings instead of the claimed traffic source.
- •Specific word or phrase: any call where a word or phrase you choose is mentioned.
- •Caller was never interested: calls where the caller did not want the service at all.
- •Wrong service or vertical: callers asking for a service the campaign does not sell.
When a call is flagged
Each flagged call gets:
- The monitor's tag in the call log, added by AI Watchdog
- A note with the reason, if Add a note to flagged calls is on
- A line in the email report with the reason, a short quote from the transcript, and the publisher and campaign when there is one
Open a monitor to see its Run history and All flagged calls. View in call log opens the call log filtered to that monitor's tag.
AI can be wrong. Treat a flag as a call worth listening to, not a verdict.
Run now
Use Run now to test an instruction or to review calls without waiting for the schedule. Choose which calls and how many (1 to 2,000):
- Everything waiting: the calls the next scheduled run would read, oldest first. Anything left over continues in hourly runs.
- Newest calls: calls from the last 30 days, newest first. The schedule is not affected.
The run happens in the background. A monitor never reviews the same call twice, so running it again does not re-read or re-bill calls it has already seen.
Schedule, backlog, and pausing
Monitors check for new calls every hour and email one report at the hour you picked. Calls are reviewed in batches of 400. If a lookback or a busy stretch leaves more than that waiting, the backlog is worked through within the hour until the monitor is caught up.
Pausing a monitor stops it from reviewing calls. When you resume, it starts from new calls and skips everything that came in while it was paused, so you are not billed for the gap.
Monitors do not run while your account balance is at its limit. Add funds to resume monitoring.
Pricing
AI Watchdog is $49/month plus $0.005 for each call a monitor reviews. 200 reviewed calls cost $1 in usage.
Each monitor bills separately, so two monitors reading the same call are two charges. An account can have up to 25 monitors. Skipped short calls are free.
