Robocall Extinguisher
Configure risk-score blocking, whitelist overrides, and carrier blacklist rules for inbound calls.
Open Robocall settings
1. Go to Addons.
2. Open Robocall Extinguisher.
3. Turn protection on or off with the main toggle.
4. Review your scan price and save threshold changes from the same screen.
How blocking decisions are made
Inbound calls are evaluated in this order:
If you add carrier pattern Bandwidth, it also matches names like Bandwidth, Inc..
- •Whitelisted numbers are always allowed.
- •Carrier blacklist rules run next (case-insensitive partial match on carrier name).
- •If not already blocked, the robocall risk score is checked against your threshold.
- •Calls above threshold are rejected before they ring your team.
Set and save your threshold
1. In Robocall settings, move the Risk Threshold slider (10 to 100).
2. Click Save.
3. Watch the page for an Unsaved Changes indicator before leaving.
Lower values block more aggressively. Higher values block fewer calls.
Start moderate (around 60 to 70). Very low thresholds can block real leads.
Manage whitelist numbers
Use the Whitelist card to add trusted caller numbers that should bypass scoring and blocking logic.
1. Enter a number (for example +12125551234).
2. Click Add.
3. Remove entries any time from the list row actions.
Manage carrier blacklist rules
Use the Carrier Blacklist card when spam comes from specific carriers or resellers.
1. Enter a carrier pattern (for example VoIP Innovations).
2. Click Add.
3. Remove patterns from row actions if traffic quality changes.
Carrier blacklist matching is broad by design. Avoid overly generic terms that could block legitimate traffic.
Monitor impact
The Robocall page shows totals for Total Calls, Scanned, Blocked, Flagged, and Legitimate calls. Use these cards to validate threshold changes before and after updates.
Billing and usage
Robocall scanning is usage-based. Check your current scan rate and billing impact in Settings → Billing.
