AI Assistants (MCP)
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any AI assistant to CallScaler and ask about your calls, numbers and campaigns in plain English.
Paste this link into your AI assistant
Add it as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT or any AI app, then sign in to CallScaler when it asks. That's it.
https://v3.callscaler.com/mcpWhat It Does
CallScaler runs a remote MCP server (Model Context Protocol), the standard way AI assistants connect to tools. Once connected, your assistant can answer questions like "which campaign had the worst answer rate last week?" or "rename the Tampa number" by calling the same public API you can use with an API key, on your behalf.
There is nothing to install. You sign in with your normal CallScaler login, pick the account the assistant may use, and you are done.
- •One connection covers one account (business, publisher, buyer or broker). To use another business, add the connector again and pick it at sign-in
- •You sign in through CallScaler, never by pasting a key into the assistant
- •Disconnect any time under Settings → API & MCP
Connect Claude
In Claude on the web or in the desktop app (mobile uses the connection once it exists):
On a Team or Enterprise plan an Owner adds the connector under Organization settings, then each person connects with their own CallScaler login.
- •Open Customize → Connectors and choose Add custom connector
- •Name it CallScaler and paste
https://v3.callscaler.com/mcp - •Keep Sign in now and Use Claude's published identity (the defaults), then click Add
- •Click Connect. A CallScaler window opens: sign in if needed, pick the account, choose whether Claude may make changes, then Allow
Connect Claude Code
From a terminal:
- •
/mcpopens the sign-in in your browser. Approve it and Claude Code picks up the tools right away - •Use
claude mcp remove callscalerto drop the connection on that machine
claude mcp add --transport http callscaler https://v3.callscaler.com/mcp
# then, inside Claude Code
/mcpOther Assistants
ChatGPT (custom connectors in developer mode), Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients work the same way: add https://v3.callscaler.com/mcp as a remote MCP server. They register themselves automatically and open the same CallScaler sign-in.
What the Assistant Can Do
Business accounts get the documented public API as tools:
Ask for a period and the assistant passes your account's time zone along, so "this week" means your week.
- •Read: account summary, dashboard stats, the call log with every filter, single calls and transcripts, analytics (group by source, campaign, day, hour and more), numbers and their stats, call flows and versions, number groups and pools, text conversations, voicemails, form submissions, webhook deliveries
- •Make changes (optional at sign-in, Manager access or above): search for and buy numbers, release numbers, rename numbers or move them to another call flow, create, edit, duplicate, restore and delete call flows, create number groups and pools and add numbers to them, send text messages
- •Pay Per Call networks also get their buyers, buyer campaigns, publishers and payouts, and with Make changes can create and edit buyer campaigns, set prices and ZIP lists, minimum bids and quality gates, and pause campaigns
- •Buyer and broker accounts get their calls, campaigns, transactions and disputes, and with Make changes can create, edit, price and pause campaigns (brokers for each buyer they manage). Buyers stay within the minimum prices and the campaign management setting their network chose
- •Publisher accounts get read access to the same data as their marketplace API keys: calls, campaigns, earnings and payouts
Permissions and Safety
The assistant only ever acts as you, on the account you chose.
- •Your CallScaler role still applies. A Viewer stays read only even with Make changes ticked
- •Money-moving and irreversible actions (buying a number, sending texts, releasing numbers, replacing call flows or bid sheets, archiving campaigns) are flagged so assistants confirm with you first. Claude asks before each one unless you chose Always allow. Billing, deposits, top-ups, team and API-key management are never available to a connected app
- •Access tokens expire after an hour and refresh silently. A connection stays active as long as it is used; after 30 days without use, or if CallScaler detects a leaked token, you connect again
- •Each connected login gets its own rate limit of 60 requests per minute, separate from your API keys
- •Connections are per login. Removing a teammate from the business removes what their assistant can reach
Troubleshooting
The most common messages and what to do:
- •This sign-in request expired: the sign-in window sat open for more than 10 minutes. Go back to the assistant and connect again
- •The assistant says it cannot make changes: the connection was made read only, or your login is a Viewer. Disconnect it under Settings → API & MCP and connect again with Make changes ticked
- •Rate limit reached: wait a minute. Ask for narrower data (filters, smaller limits) to stay under the limit
- •Not available to connected apps: the assistant tried something outside the documented API, such as billing. Do it in the app instead
- •Couldn't reach the MCP server in Claude: check the URL is exactly
